Marcel Fehrendt presents how you can derive a real DWH / BI solution with simple steps from a MS Excel Workbook without compromising on MS Excel. The focus of this session is to convert hard-maintainable and error-prone MS Excel solutions using MS Excel PowerPivot, MS Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services. Closing Keynote: From project disaster to project party - thanks to AgileBI (Raphael Branger)
In this concluding keynote you will get to know the somewhat unsuccessful project manager Kevin Meier and how he tries to escape from his dismissal. His BI project is in difficulties. Neither he can deliver what he promised nor he can respond to the changing needs for the business managers. But help is at hand - Mr. Meier hires a well-known Agile Coach. Keynote: Siva Harinath
Sivakumar Harinath is a Principal Program Manager in the Microsoft Business Intelligence team. Siva joined Microsoft in 2002. He has been part of the Analysis Services and Reporting services team shipping various releases of SQL Server as well as PowerPivot. Siva has co-authored books in Analysis Services, PowerPivot for Excel and SharePoint. Siva currently works with various Power BI customers on guiding them to use Power BI features effectively.

Romi Koifman is a Program Manager in the Microsoft Business Intelligence team. Romi joined Microsoft in 2013 and has been part of the BI team from it’s early days. In her current role at the Power BI Mobile team she is driving customer initiatives to generate success stories and collect feedback. She is engaging with the Power BI community through Power BI Blogs and other channels.
Chief Knowledge Officer, Senior Solution Architect
Raphael Branger studied and holds a Master of Arts in Information Management. He is working as Chief Knowledge Officer and Senior Solution Architect at IT-Logix. Raphael is having more than 13 years of practical experience in the area of business intelligence and data warehousing. His work currently focuses on BI specific requirements analysis as well as the adoption of agile methods among BI.
General Manager, Microsoft Switzerland
Since July 2015 Marianne Janik has held the role of Country Manager heading Microsoft Switzerland. For around four years she was responsible for the public sector, education and healthcare as part of executive management at Microsoft Germany. In this central Microsoft business division she drove continuous growth and successfully supported her customers in their innovation and transformation processes. The French born Doctor of Law has years of sales and leadership experience in various businesses and sectors at her command. Marianne Janik started her professional career at Daimler Benz ltd in the Public Affairs division. Next, she took over the Contract Department of a subsidiary of EADS and following that, the sales department for public authority, army and industry customer transactions. Marianne Janik is married with two children.

Philipp Müller heads the Controlling at mobilezone Group since 2012. He studied Information and Technology Management at the University of St. Gallen and has large experience in the areas of ERP / reporting and publishing tools (introduction and operations at Sunrise and mobilezone). After a few experimental projects in the area of "predictive analytics" ten years ago at Swisscom, Philipp is now dealing intensively with this issue and the resulting process improvements at mobilezone.

Marc Schöni is a Technical Solution Professional for BI & Analytics at Microsoft in Switzerland with years of project experience in this space – and a hopeless data aficionado. Taking care of large and medium sized customers across the country, he supports them in strategic evaluations of analytics platforms and applications and delivers proof-of-concept type of projects for them on a daily basis.
In his spare time - and when not working on any other data related fun project - he is currently studying data science.

He holds a Bachelor in Business Administration as well as a Master in Economics computer science and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Expert Business Intelligence.
